How it works

This site is a place for members of our community to rent and sell wedding gowns to each other. We are a broker: the gowns belong to the members who post them, and every rental or sale is an agreement between the two members.

Posting a gown

Posting your first gown is free. Each additional gown is a monthly fee while it's on the site. Listings stay up for a set time and can be renewed from My account. Every gown is checked by the site owner and goes live once it's approved. Photos must show the gown; faces are blurred automatically. Listings may be reviewed, hidden or removed by the site owner.

Premium listings

Premium is an optional monthly upgrade for one gown, at the price shown when you pay. A Premium gown is shown at the top of the gown list and on the home page with a gold Premium badge while it's paid, and then becomes a standard listing again (if you already have your one free gown on the site, the gown comes off the site until it's paid again). Premium gowns also need the site owner's approval. Premium is not refundable once it's on.

Monthly payments

Premium and additional gowns are paid by credit card through a secure payment provider. We never see or store your card number. You choose “Monthly (renews automatically)” or “Just one month”. Monthly payments renew by themselves every month (also while the gown is marked rented) until you remove the gown or mark it sold; you can cancel auto-renew anytime in My account, and it stays on until the end of the month you paid for. Payment for a rental or purchase is arranged between the members.

Messages and privacy

Your email and phone number are never shown to other members. All contact between members happens through messages on this site. When someone messages you, we send a short notice to the email you signed up with. To keep everyone safe, the site owner can read messages and see whether a gown was rented or sold.

Rentals and sales

Members agree between themselves on the price, deposit, fitting, pickup, return date, cleaning and the condition of the gown. Please describe your gown honestly and treat a rented gown with care.
